Out of the Shadows : Concealing and Revealing Ourselves
The work centered on Identity, Transformation, and what we chose to share and hide about our true self. Through the use of costumes and the adornment of clothing and accessories students initially used photography as a tool of editing the information about their own identity. Students then develop specific creative skills in: drawing, use of oil pastels effectively, identifying colour zones, underpainting, blending, layering, finishing/varnishes.
