The Grand Scheme of Things
I took this photo over the course of an hour on a cold January night, tracking the stars as they moved with earth's rotation creating this star trail effect. It was -2 degrees Celsius and the sky was completely clear. Not only did frost start to form on my clothes but also on the lens of the camera. I think the end result was worth the discomfort.
The image shows us how small we are in the universe and gives perspective of the present moment in the grand scheme of things.
