Coming Together
I was inspired by what nature unexpectedly provided - a thick sheet ice on our rainwater recycling basin. An opportunity to have fun - feeling icy coldness and laughing while smashing it into pieces in the fresh air. I then saw the pieces could come together to make an ice sculpture.
The message of my ice sculpture for this art competition is to enjoy things while you have them - like right now when we’re all together even though we are apart.
