This is a self portrait I painted capturing myself getting ready, it signifies what we’re missing now but also what we can be excited for. If I had painted this a year ago it would represent a girl getting ready to go somewhere, out with friends, to a festival or even to a wedding.Those once normal times in our lives are now novelty events we can only dream about. So for me it’s like an homage to what’s to come and what’s to look forward to again.
