What I see
I live by the sea and during lockdown I have learnt that you can see so much if you look carefully. The sea isn’t one colour, the rock pools always have gobi fish, crabs and shrimps hiding in seaweed or under the pebbles. The harbour seal and dolphins are there even when you can’t see them but it’s really nice when you do. Herons feed at night when I’m asleep, I’ve seen them waiting for food on the pier in the dark. Being by the sea helps me be calm and happy this painting reminds me of that.
