Waking Dreams
This piece shows a collection of my favourite toys from childhood. Imagination played a huge role in my enjoyment of and interaction with these toys. This piece represents how the toys came to life within my mind as I played. The vivid choice of colours and clarity of representation show the impact these toys and my experience of playing with them had on me. While the memories are powerful for me, I felt immortalising them would allow others to appreciate the power of play.
