Before; Yet I Still Am
‘Before; yet I still Am’ represents the part of me that is and will always be Vietnamese no matter what. I was adopted from Vietnam as a child but over the Christmas break, I found out that I am actually Chinese. This artwork represents how even though so much is changing in my life, my roots are the same and it will always be apart of me. Much like the global pandemic, so much has changed. But eventually, we shall return to our roots and everything shall be peaceful once more.
