The Free Hare
Today the animals of Ireland are running free and happy while the humans are locked away in their homes or bubbles, like in my painting.The humans cannot do much damage to the environment when travel and much movement is prohibited. The animals are roaming more freely and happily all over the world during this time, without human destruction, which is a postitive thing to come from lockdown. We visited Museum D'Orsay, Paris, where I saw Monets painting 'Poppyfields', which inspired my foreground.
