My Favourite Place
My artwork is a self portrait of me in my favourite place, wearing my favourite clothes and boots, playing music on my ukulele. I decided to do a mono-print because it is a simple method but it makes the drawing look more interesting and you dont need any special equipment to do a mono-print. I also like the softness of the lines, and the way you can smudge with your finger to get more tone. I like the way you never know how the art turns out until you turn the paper over.
